Position: Business Development Manager
Michelle Coridas has managed Piano Moves for over four years. Her insight into the company operations and vision ensures that each piano move booked with the company is completed with the utmost efficiency. During these four years Michelle has overseen the growth of Piano Moves from a piano relocation service within the western suburbs to a relocation service covering Metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria to South East Queensland including the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Michelle's experience, accompanied by her strong work ethic, ensures that the company's development remains being the most professional and modern piano carrier.
What is your role at Piano Moves?
My role involves Sales, Logistics, Inventory, Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll. I book relocations for our private and corporate clients and then logistically coordinate these for our relocation crews. I also coordinate the hire of our own grand pianos to promoters, tour managers, event managers, and brides-to-be for their special occasions. As well as stock control for our Brisbane warehouse, I also manage our accounts department.
Why do you like working at Piano Moves?
Each day presents new challenges. Almost every client's relocation requires a different level of attention and organisation to meet their needs. I enjoy consistently exceeding our customers' expectations. As I work in many different areas within Piano Moves I now have invaluable knowledge in the running of a successful business. I also enjoy the opportunities provided for personal growth and development within Piano Moves by its directors.
Away from organising all business elements for Piano Moves, Michelle loves dining out with friends and finds cooking very relaxing and mindless even though she believes there is room for improvement. Michelle enjoys running and partaking in fun runs. She also loves hanging out and laughing with her family and Saturday breakfast with her fiancé, puppy and the newspaper.
Name: Jessica Merlo
Position: Sales and Marketing Assistant
Jessica Merlo commenced work at Piano Moves after completing an Advanced Diploma of Business (Public Relations) at Swinburne University and commencing a Bachelor of Business (Marketing).
What is your role at Piano Moves?
My role is to ensure the continued growth of the company and to raise awareness of our procedures and services. I assist with organising all the advertising for the company along with marketing elements such as direct mail, websites, feature publications, sponsorship and corporate stationary needs. Processing orders for piano transfers and entering data into our systems is also part of my daily work.
Why do you like working at Piano Moves?
I enjoy receiving feedback from our happy clients who are amazed at the professionalism of the company and the care we take when moving their precious pianos. The role is so diverse - whether it's booking in piano transfers with difficult access or thinking of creative ideas to promote our company - everyday I learn something new.
When not involved in organising company activities Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and going out with her friends. Jessica also enjoys traveling, reading, netball and the beach.
