Royal Women's Butterfly Ball

Piano Moves is proud to be a sponsor of the 2008 Butterfly Ball at The Sofitel, Brisbane.

Australian Opera singer Marina Posa is performing at the event and Piano Moves is assisting in sponsorship of a Grand Piano for her to play.

"After graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Marina went to London to continue her vocal studies with the renowned teacher, Vera Rozso-Nordell. She then went to Italy and studied under the world-famous operatic soprano, Magda Laszlo. While in Italy, Marina performed at The Vatican in Vatican City, at La Fontanone in Rome and also gave recitals in Gaeta, Frasso Sabino and Palombara-Sabina"

The event is organised by the Royal Brisbane Womens Hospital and is scheduled for Saturday the 11th of October.

"Now in its 6th year, the Butterfly Ball is one of the premier black tie events on the Brisbane social calendar.

Held in the Ballroom Le Grand of the Sofitel Hotel, it promises to be a night of fashion, glamour, sumptuous food, fine wines, entertainment and dancing.

Multi-award winning and internationally renowned fashion designer, Bora, makes her return to the 2008 Butterfly Ball. She will showcase her new season range of innovative designs in a spectacular fashion show.

This year's Ball is being held to raise money for Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital (RBWH) Foundation in order to fund the Perinatal Research Centre's BRAIN Project, which is a five year study focussed on preventing injury or rehabilitating the developing brain of newborns"

Australian Music Association Conference - Gold Coast 2007

Our Brisbane and Melbourne piano relocation consultants were delighted to be a part of the 2007 AMAC show.

The Australian Music Association holds an annual conference on the Gold Coast.

"The Australian Music Association is the trade body for the music products industry, representing wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers and associated services for musical instruments, pro audio, print music, lighting and computer music products."

The professionals at Piano Moves were entrusted with the relocation of piano products for suppliers such as Yamaha, Music Link and Bernie's Music Land.

Music In Schools - Music Count Us In Campaign

We are passionate about bringing music into the lives of children and adults so if you have a piano that you no longer find useful we are happy to give you a price and arrange delivery of the piano to a kindergarten, school or music facility.
